Wedding Location

Sandbank

Nakupenda, which translates into “I love you” in Swahili, is the amazing sandbank which appears only for a few hours during low tide in the front of Karafuu Resort beach, near the coral reef.

If you dream to experience something unique, exclusive and absolutely romantic our Sandbank is the right location for your wedding.

With your bare feet on the virgin white coral sand, surrounded by turquoise sea water, you will feel like living in a dreamland. With the upcoming high tide, the sandbank will disappear, while memories of this unforgettable moment will remain forever etched in your hearts. The Sandbank is especially recommended for small groups.

Kae Beach

The wedding ceremony at Kae Beach is framed by the pristine and unspoiled sunset beachfront which offers spectacular views of the gorgeous Indian Ocean. Compared with the busy beaches located in North Kae, is peaceful and relaxed.

The stunning sunset with magical colors and the traditional Ngalawa boats cruising behind the horizon are the background of your Zanzibar wedding experience. Swaying palms and a glorious white beach will give you the real wild African feeling.

With this suggestive location you can say your “big yes” looking at the infinite view of the Indian Ocean. The private Sundeck of the Thalasso Pool guarantees a perfect atmosphere to host your intimate and private wedding, up to 30 participants.
A staircase leads to the terrace of the Resort which offers a breathtaking view of the Ocean.

Private Beach

The white sand and the sound of the waves will bring your wedding to life on the magical Karafuu Private Beach.
The large white sandbank overlooking the Indian Ocean will allow you to customize every aspect of this very special day.
Suitable to host many guests, this private beach is perfect to hold ceremonies any time of the day and it is easily accessible directly from the Resort. The lush palm grove on the beach offers a large area of natural shade where you can hold your ceremony and create unforgettable memories.
